WILDHORSE FAMILY FUNPLEX- AT THE WILDHORSE RESORT & CASINO

The goal of the project was to upgrade the existing foodservice facilities and amenities, as well as the addition of a newly constructed area in order to improve the guest experience while promoting a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Rippe Associates worked collaboratively with stakeholders from Wildhorse Resort and Casino, along with architect firm Thalen Boyd Emery, to create a design that was aligned with the Funplex’s envisioned theme and atmosphere. The design process involved a thorough analysis of the needs of the facility and an identification of the areas that could be improved.

The project, which was completed in 2020, specifically sought to upgrade facilities at the movie theater, as well as add in a bowling alley with concessions, and a food court, which houses four food options– Moe Pho Noodles, Burgers & More, Brigham Fish & Chips, and Sweet Shop – serving ice cream & pastries. The food court features nutritious meal options such as grain bowls, salads, and vegetarian meals on all the restaurant’s menus. The design also incorporated sustainable features, including energy-efficient lighting, compostable containers, and recycling stations.

In addition to the new construction of the food court, Rippe Associates collaborated to also design the foodservice facilities at the bowling alley and upgraded the existing movie theater foods. The bowling alley features a bar and lounge area, as well as foodservice provided to this area of the funplex.

The addition of the new facilities at the Wildhorse Family Funplex has significantly enhanced the guest experience, creating a dynamic and enjoyable destination for families. The food court offers delicious food options and is aesthetically pleasing, contributing to a fun and welcoming environment. Furthermore, the addition of the bowling alley and redesign of the movie theater area complements the overall theme of the Funplex, providing guests with a well-rounded experience. This collaborative project has successfully created a space that caters to the diverse needs and preferences of all guests while promoting a fun and engaging family vacation experience.
