Riverside offers a new look, feel and concept for Iowa with a Vegas-style experience. It focuses on the dining and resort experience as well as gaming with 180 slots and 39 table games. The four restaurants in the complex range from 356-seat Robert’s Buffet specializing in Italian and Asian cuisine, 60-seat Ripple Diner, 70-seat Ruthie’s Steak & Seafood and 16-seat Ripple Express.

A central kitchen supports these foodservices, in addition to banquets, catering and room service. Each restaurant has dedicated cooklines and day storage within the central kitchen with access to a shared dishwashing area and bulk storage. The hot prep area produces soups and sauces for each venue and also takes care of banquets. The cold food/garden manger produces salads for the buffet, banquets and the EDR as well as cold ingredients for the other venues. The buffet stations have enough cooking equipment and cold storage to produce most of their menu items, they are backed up with pass-thru refrigerators and warmers for items that come from the kitchen. The buffet cookline prepares the traditional comfort food menu items as well as menu items for the EDR. The casino floor features an octagon-shaped center bar featuring an overhead fountain synchronized with jets that shoot water 50 feet into the air with lights and music. There is a Las Vegas style bar and show lounge that is open to the casino and a VIP lounge that includes a small buffet for top end players.
